Whether you are already a keen patchworker, or interested in getting started with this very rewarding craft, our Patchwork Holidays offer a great combination of a relaxing break in one of our holiday homes, with tailored patchwork tuition and support for you and a group of friends. Browse this page for details of the different courses we can offer. You'll be staying in the Vestry, which comfortably sleeps four on the large mezzanine floor, has two shower rooms and has a fully equiped kitchen where you can prepare your breakfast and evening meal, if required.
By the end of the week, even beginners will have completed a small quilt. The courses are offered all year round except during the months of July and August, and classes are held in the Chapel. Included in the price are:

Flights, car hire, and travel insurance are not included . A selection of rulers, jelly-rolls and other fabrics are available for sale.

Wednesday Patchwork Classes 2011/12
in French and English
Held twice a month on Wednesdays, beginning 21st September 2011
Classes
are held in the chapel,
two Wednesdays each month, beginning Wednesday 21st September 2011, in machine
patchwork and techniques with a rotary cutter. Each day
is a complete lesson and the course continues through the

Bring
your sewing machine, fabric and usual sewing equipment.
We have fabric for sale plus rotary cutters and boards
if you do not already have your own.
Costs
for each day tuition from 10.00-16.00 is €15.
This includes instruction sheets, coffee, tea and

Patch Wonders
This
class is suitable for beginners who want to learn
about making nine patch blocks and combining with
triangles to make a quilt top. |

Wavy
Borders, Wavy Quilting.
This
class is suitable for those who have practiced some
patchwork and want to learn how to make a perfect
wavy edge and bind with bias binding. This technique
can also be used for wavy border quilting. |

Boxed
blocks
Using
a ‘jelly roll’ of thirty different colours
to make a stunning quilt top in one day. Suitable
for all levels of experience. |

scrap quilt made with stars. Free cutting techniques
ensure that every quilt is different. The class is
suitable for those who have tried some basic techniques. |

workshops are for a minimum of six people and a maximum
of fifteen. All instruction sheets are included in the costs. As
